By stepping into the CardMuse sanctuary and drawing a card, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before consulting the Digital Oracle.

1. Nature of the Service (Disclaimer)

CardMuse is an art and entertainment platform, not a professional advisor.

The readings, images, and texts generated by our AI are for psychological reflection, entertainment, and artistic appreciation only. They do NOT constitute medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. You remain entirely responsible for any life decisions you make after using our service.

2. Acceptable Use & The Abyss

The Oracle refuses to gaze into malice. You agree NOT to submit prompts that are:

  • Violent, graphically disturbing, or promoting self-harm.
  • Explicitly sexual (NSFW) or non-consensual.
  • Hate speech or targeted harassment towards individuals or groups.

Our safety filters will intercept these requests and return a protective refusal. Repeated attempts to bypass the safeguards will result in an automated ban.

3. AI Generation & Artifact Ownership

Because the cards are forged by artificial intelligence in real-time, their exact visual nature is inherently unpredictable. We do not guarantee the historical accuracy of tarot symbolism or the flawlessness of the pixel output.

Your License: You are granted a non-exclusive license to download, share, and use the images generated during your session for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not resell the generated raw images as mass-produced merchandise without contacting us for commercial rights.

4. Abuse and Rate Limiting

The Oracle's energy is finite (and our GPU compute costs are very real). We strictly enforce rate limits on our free tier. Bots, scrapers, or automated scripts designed to mass-generate cards will be permanently blocked without notice.

5. Modifications to the Ritual

As this project evolves, we reserve the right to alter the art styles, modify the underlying AI models, add or remove features, or adjust the pricing frameworks at any time.
